This is early Eddie Murphy at his best. A serious plot with lots of comedy in between this is a terrific movie.He plays a tough rule breaking cop from Detriot who goes to Beverly Hills which has a button down suit and jacket police force to confront the mobsters who killed a friend of his. Getting the bad guys is a real adventure for Eddie. He needs to talk to the man before "things start fallin' off on him" ....
