Wheels and axels - Beverly Hills Cop Reviews

Geez, what can you say about this movie? It's a good-times film. Yes, it's unrealistic. Yes, Eddie Murphy's acting carries the film. Yes, it is a predictable plot line NOW.... But somehow there is an underlying theme....A spot of brilliance that goes beyond the cheesy storyline, and brings home a hearty laugh every time. And I wish i knew what it was....Eddie Murphy's laugh is comical, but it's no better than that nerd's laugh on "Revenge of the Nerds". The banana in the tailpipe routine has been done before, and probably done better since. Whatever "it" is, Beverly Hills Cop has it. If you've never seen it, you really should. It was one of the movies that inspired the whole cop craze. As a matter of opinion, I think it's a good movie. Not wonderful, perfect, or anything like that...just good, and entertaining.
