Eddie Murphy rose to stardom as young and brash Axel Foley, a cop who lives in Detroit. After his best friend Mikey pays him a visit after two years, he is brutally killed. Avenging his best friend's death, Axel heads to Beverly Hills to track the killer. Lots of humor and comedy performed by Murphy.
